How To Make Xbox 360 Controller Work On Call Of Duty: WAW PC

September 15, 2009

World At War for the PC suppose to support the Xbox 360 controller but it doesn't by default. The back of the box for the PC version says it supports Xbox 360 Controller For Windows. When people plug the controller in and try to use it on the game, it just doesn't work. I was frustrated with Xpadder and the other tiny software you use to make any game controller work with a PC game. They just don't work well, the controls gets screwy and it also makes your mouse cursor move eradically. Xpadder was retarded trying to get a PS3 controller to work. Only a few of the buttons worked in WAW. Everything else don't do anything. I was looking to buy the wireless receiver from Microsoft which can be use to connect the wireless 360 controllers to PC, but they are discontinued and can no longer be found at stores. My only option was to buy the wired 360 controller. I got one at Walmart, the back of the package says it works with Vista. I plugged it into my computer via USB, Windows 7 recognized it automatically and installed the driver. I started up COD: WAW on PC, as you know, the controller doesn't do anything from the get go.

Here's what you gotta do:

1. Go to WAW Options & Controls
2. Game Options
3. Enable Console - set to YES
4. Type ~ key, next to number 1
5. Type "exec default_controller.cfg" without the quotes, press Enter

The controller will not work in the Menus, start up a game to use it.

If you go into the Controls options, you'll even see Xbox 360 buttons and it's color as the option, the devs programmed the game to work with the controller. But they didn't enable it by default and say that they do not officially support game controllers. What's up with that?

The button configurations are already configured for the game, right trigger for shoot, left trigger for aim, left stick push for run, X for reload, ...etc.

Camel Menthol Lights Now Include Menthol Burst Ball

August 12, 2009

camel-crush-kool-boost-cigarettes

The menthol burst ball found in Camel Crush & Kool Boost now found in Camel Menthol Lights. The ball, hidden inside the filter, when squeezed, breaks and releases a powerful menthol goodness. The menthol lights cigs are the same as before but can now have an even more powerful menthol flavor. I think this is great for the menthol lights cigs as they weren't mentholly enough before. I also found that squeezing the ball early when smoking the cig, the powerful menthol flavor will last to the end...of the cig. To acheive the best experience and to get most of the burst, squeeze the ball til you hear it pop, you'll feel it pop too, then rotate the filter by squeezing it slightly like your rolling it to loosen the filter, allowing the burst of menthol to flow easier into your mouth.
