Another big game hitting the internet early is SF4. Xbox 360 hackers have gotten a copy of the game and released it widely on torrent sites and newsgroups. It's region free meaning PAL and NTSC will work on worldwide Xboxes. The text is all in English, the voices can be selected as Japanese or English.

The release date for the US is Feb 17th. This game features all the well known characters from the previous SF games and includes a few new characters such as Abel, C. Viper, Rufus, El Fuerte. Hidden characters include Seth, Akuma, and Gouken. Also new to the home version and not found in the arcade are Dan, Fei-Long, Sakura, Cammy, Gen, and Rose.

The arcade version of Street Fighter IV was voted Best Game of 2008 in Japan by the editorial staff of Arcadia magazine in the February 2009 issue of the publication. The game also won in the categories of "Best Graphics", "Best Production", and the "Reader's Choice Award".
